Conference Details

The graduate students in the Classics Department at the University of California Los Angeles are pleased to announce that the graduate conference “Into the Wild: Flora and Fauna in the Classical World”, which took place October 21-22, 2016 in the Humanities Conference Room (314) of UCLA Royce Hall, was a great success. This conference provided a venue for graduate students to present their new perspectives on animals and wildlife in Ancient Greece and Rome.  Interested parties can view the Conference Schedule for more details.

The keynote address was delivered on Friday, October 21 by Professor Mark Payne of the University of Chicago.
